Mirror, mirror on the floor..., 2016, cypress leaves, walnut and cypress oil soap sculptures
A comment on the friction between pagan motifs and the fact that they are being used under christian sanctuary, using soap, a cleaning agent. The Crypt gallery rests on top of the river Fleet, and at the time, another crude oil spill happened in the Peruvian Amazon. This is a site-specific piece, and the viewer is invited to reflect on these headstones.
